About the tour
Cycling skills are required to complete the bike ride from Myrdal to Flåm. Estimated time is approx. 2 hours.
All cycling is at your own risk
We recommend comfortable shoes and clothing.
Be prepared for oncoming traffic in Flåmsdalen!
After the ride, leave your bikes in the designated area at Flåm railway station.
Bike helmet and transportation of the bikes back to Myrdal are included in the price.
If you rent bikes from us, we offer free luggage storage at Myrdal.
About the equipment
Café Rallaren's bike rental is located on the platform at Myrdal railway station.
The bike rental only applies to the trip from Myrdal to Flåm. Our bikes are well suited for this trip.
We place great emphasis on safety, and therefore have bike mechanics who check and fix the bikes after each ride.
Before the tour starts, the bikes are customized for each person by our bike mechanics. They provide information about the tour.
The first stretch from Myrdal is a gravel road. We recommend cycling the steep section "Svingane", which consists of 21 bends.
Book a bike
We have mountain bikes in sizes S to XL and full suspension bikes in sizes L and XL. All bikes are from Merida, and are well suited for the trip from Myrdal to Flåm. The models are constantly updated, so the color and model may differ from the picture you see when ordering.
Pick up and drop off
Pick-up at Myrdal is whenever you want between 09:15 and 17:30. The bikes must be delivered to Flåm station no later than 18.00 (unless otherwise agreed).
In case of cancellation
If you cancel more than 4 weeks in advance, you can get a refund. Travel insurance is recommended to cover unexpected events. We do not refund due to bad weather.
